Bush Regeneration Services
Supporting TIN is supporting the local environment
The highly qualified, enthusiastic and sought after bush regeneration team offer a variety of bush regeneration and revegetation services to private landholders, local governments, DECC (NPWS), corporate landholders and community groups.The proceeds from the Bush Regen Team's efforts go back into supporting TIN's volunteer and land care projects in Newcastle and the Biodiversity in Schools project throughout the Lower Hunter. nursery, volunteer & education centre and provider of bush regeneration services.

In Newcastle (TIN) will be showing off the efforts of the volunteer coastcaring
crew these holidays with family-friendly, guided, scenic strolls from Merewether Beach
to Burwood Beach and around King Edward Park.
Three for all to Clean Up Throsby Creek on Sunday 1st March

In Newcastle, The Wilderness Society and Newcastle Rowing Club will all have their
volunteer crews out on Sunday 1st to Clean Up Throsby Creek foreshore
and around the Carrington mangroves.
The Year that Was 2008
It was a very busy year at TIN in 2008. There were proactive projects a plenty that produced fantastic outcomes for the future. A summary of the year is here for your perusal
A growing tradition
National Tree Day saw 170 locals turn out to turn some soil, pop in a plant and check on last years progeny.
There was enthusiasm-a-plenty for planting the locally grown plants and contributing to the ongoing revegetation of the iconic King Edward Park site. Four hundred trees, 1145 shrubs and 3000 grasses and groundcovers found their roots tenderly tucked into the prepared beds.
Hunter Water Australia 2003-present
TIN has worked on several projects for Hunter water which include Regeneration work at Chichester Dam; Greswick Angus along the Williams River at East Seaham; aesthetic screen planting at waste treatment works and pump stations.
Lake Macquarie Landcare Network 2000-present
TIN has undertaken Bush Regeneration at over 30 different sites for Lake Macquarie Landcare. This has included on-going projects at Salts Bay Rainforest Restoration Project from 2000-2006.
Belmont Lagoon Wetland, OLMCC 2005
TIN has undertaken bush regeneration works at Belmont Lagoon Wetland covering an area over 4 hectares. This involved works planning, primary weeding, planting, documentation, organising community participation days. TIN was contracted for this project through the Office of Lake Macquarie and Catchment Coordinator
