Trees In Newcastle (TIN) will be showing off the efforts of the volunteer coastcaring crew these holidays with family-friendly, guided, scenic strolls from Merewether Beach to Burwood Beach and around King Edward Park.

Trees In Newcastle, The Wilderness Society and Newcastle Rowing Club will all have their volunteer crews out on Sunday 1^st to Clean Up Throsby Creek foreshore and around the Carrington mangroves.

Community artists from Neami’s H’Art studio have been working overtime to present Trees In Newcastle with new nursery signs in time for the one day pre-Santa sale on Tuesday 23^rd December.

Trees In Newcastle is celebrating 19 years of regenerating the region next week with a biodiverse birthday bush-busting sale at the 252 Parry St Nursery, Tuesday 9^th -Saturday 13^th September.

"We'll be offering up an abundance of biodiverse beauties at almost giveaway prices to encourage people to put a few local natives in their gardens." Nursery Manager Barb Nanshe said

It seems like a season ago since the last TINfo and so much has been happening. TIN has a newly constituted super keen and competent Committee, new workshops have been developed on Nursery Establishment and Production Techniques, the website is slowly acquiring information and being visited, new email addresses for staff to facilitate contact, the Bush Regen Team has more bush to look after than mere mortals can manage and local schools continue to learn more about their Green Space and Green Places.
