Closed for the Festive Season

Start: 24/12/2008 - 7:00am

End: 12/01/2009 - 5:00pm

We know we'll be missed but everyone needs a rest. The nursery will be
closed for volunteer activities and to the public over this period but never fear we'll
still be here and looking forward to an exciting 2009, TIN's 20th year.

[R]InductNursery Know-How at the Uni

Start: 14/01/2009 - 9:00am

End: 14/01/2009 - 12:30pm

TIN has two nurseries, the 'head office' is at Parry Street and the holding nursery is on Transgrid land next to the University. The plants grow well at both locations and we like to go out to the Uni each week to keep the weeds under control and give some attention to the plants.

Coastcaring is physical work but the personal satisfaction and the views are tremendous. It’s a great way to learn about bush regeneration and what it takes to look after a Threatened Ecological Community, the Themda Grasslands on the seacliffs and our coastal vegetation.
