TIN has been contracted through the Hunter Region NPWS for a range of different projects from 2000-2008. Previous contracts TIN has worked on include the Hunter Coast NPWS Bush Regeneration Programs 2000-2008, Hunter Coast NPWS Wetland Regeneration Programs 2000-2008 and the Barrington Tops/Woko National Park Program 2002-2008.
TIN has undertaken Bush Regeneration at a number of project sites, including Glenrock SCA, Awabakal NR, Pambalong Swamp NR, Hexham Swamp NR, Tomaree NP and Barrington Tops/Woko National Parks. TIN has a long experience in volunteering in National Parks including Pulbah Island Regeneration Day 2001-2005, Burwood Landcare, Merewether Landcare and Bombala St Landcare. TIN has had the honour of working on two NPWS Voluntary Conservation Agreement (VCA) properties, including the first VCA in the Lake Macquarie Region, Floraville. The other site is at a 20 year Wildlife Refuge adjacent to Mount Royal National Park, Falbrook Wildlife Refuge. TIN staff have also been members of Friends and Residents of Glenrock (FROG) for 6 years. Additionally, TIN has also recently had staff members included on the Glenrock Management Committee.

Summary of Works: hand removal of weeds, backpack spraying, trials of Alligator Weed and Water Hyacinth weed removal techniques, weed distribution mapping, professional advice on future weed management strategies as well as regeneration work within Endangered Ecological Communities and in areas of threatened fauna species.
