TIN has undertaken Bush Regeneration at over 30 different sites for Lake Macquarie Landcare. This has included on-going projects at Salts Bay Rainforest Restoration Project from 2000-2006.

Summary of Works: Primary and secondary weed removal to assist Landcare groups in the field, historical site restoration, training of Landcare groups in methodologies, erosion and sediment control, dunal restoration, track and trail construction, identification of threatened species and plant communities, native and weed density mapping, Strategy Reports for Landcare groups, advise and support for Landcare groups.
Targeted Weeds: Coastal Morning Glory (Ipomoea cairica), Blue Morning Glory (Ipomoea indica), Lantana (Lantana camara), Camphor Laurel (Cinnamomum camphora), Large-leaf Privet (Ligistrum lucidum), Small-leaf Privet (Ligistrum sinense), Bitou Bush (Chrysanthemoides monilifera), Asparagus Fern (Protasparagus aethiopicus), Loquat (Eriobotrya japonica) and Crofton Weed (Ageratina adenophora).
