Native Plant or Weed? Pick the Difference Workshop

Do you have troubles telling the difference between a Plum pine and an African olive? Can you spot a White cedar in a forest of Golden rain trees? Do you worry about your Wattles...Black or Cape Leeuwin? If you'd like to be able to venture forth with vegetation confidence Ann Loughran's workshop is the first step in that journey.

TIN is celebrating Water Week with an exciting workshop. Ann Loughran has recently launched the second volume of Native plant or weed?Pick the difference. This hands-on workshop will be using examples from the books to help you recognise the natives from the weeds. There will be a few water weeds to wonder about too.

Ann has a fabulous teaching style, and the workshops are a great learning experience, especially for those that like to learn by doing.

If you'd like to attend places are limited. The workshop is being held inthe Black Box Theatre of the Newcastle Community Arts Centre, next door to TIN.
