Australian Technology Showcase

The Australian Technology Showcase (ATS) ats@business.gov.au began as an international campaign to promote Australian innovation in the spotlight of the 2000 Olympics. Targeted at an audience of international business people and media, the campaign positioned New South Wales and Australia as sources of knowledge-intensive industries.

Over 200 New South Wales technologies have been accepted into the program. Other Australian States have also joined the program and have commenced the selection process to identify exciting new technologies.

In New South Wales, the Innovation Council plays a critical role in assessing the applications. The success of the showcase rests on ensuring a high level of quality control is maintained.
