Ngaire Southwell  - Volunteer Coordinator

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Natural Resources; Senior First Aid; Resuscitation Certificate; Mastertree Growers Certificate; Chemcert II Certificate; Certificate IV Satyananda Yoga Teaching.

Ngaire started with TIN in 2005, first as our nursery supervisor and now coordinating our volunteer programs. Before TIN, Ngaire was with Greening Australia and held a position as a project officer for their Agro forestry research projects and Bushcare programs. Ngaire’s yoga training helps Ngaire manage volunteers with physical limitations, ensuring TIN volunteers can contribute safely within their capabilities.

Our Volunteers

TIN has over 50 regular and active volunteers who annually provide 18,500 hours of time and energy to the organisation and the community. Our core group of volunteers average five years with TIN and our new volunteers are showing great initiative.
