Suits those with good physical fitness who like to work outdoors.

TIN’s Landcare group undertakes weed control and coastal regeneration along Newcastle’s spectacular coastline, with sites at King Edward Park, Shepherds Hill, Merewether Beach and Burwood Beach.

Landcare is physical work but the personal satisfaction, views and camaraderie are tremendous. Since 2002 we have successfully replaced the weed Bitou Bush with a beautiful diversity of coastal native flora.
