Happy Birthday TIN
Nineteen years ago a seed was planted in the minds of the local community that ‘we need more trees in Newcastle'. In our birthday month of September, fittingly ‘Biodiversity month' as well, TIN is still growing strong.

It seems like a season ago since the last TINfo and so much has been happening. TIN has a newly constituted super keen and competent Committee, new workshops have been developed on Nursery Establishment and Production Techniques, the website is slowly acquiring information and being visited, new email addresses for staff to facilitate contact, the Bush Regen Team has more bush to look after than mere mortals can manage and local schools continue to learn more about their Green Space and Green Places.

There has been a fair bit happening around the place, nursery craziness
leading up to National Tree Day, projects a plenty wrapping up for the
financial year's end and a lot of pondering of the policies and procedures
from the Committee.
